Vidas invisíveis: o impacto da pandemia na população em situação de rua e a urgência das políticas públicas no Agreste de Pernambuco

In the post-pandemic scenario, the human rights of homeless individuals have gained more attention due to the increase in this population. Focusing on the Agreste region of Pernambuco, this study is a bibliographic and documentary research based on works related to the topic. Through an exploratory method and a qualitative approach, academic productions carried out during and after the COVID-19 pandemic were analyzed. The results highlighted the growth of the homeless population, directly impacted by the pandemic and state negligence, as well as the urgent need for the implementation of public policies aimed at this population and the expansion of studies focused on the Agreste region.
