VistaCreate y Heyzine Flipbook como recurso didáctico para la enseñanza de Química Orgánica

The training of pedagogues in Chemistry and Biology requires that students develop didactic and scientific competences in the subjects of their area, however, they are not always able to relate theory with practice in the subject of Organic Chemistry, due to its complexity and diversity of reactions, therefore, it is necessary to design and implement innovative didactic resources that facilitate the application of theoretical concepts in the resolution of various types of problems, as well as the use of pedagogical tools that facilitate the understanding of content by presenting the information in a synthesized, organized and visual way. The objective of the research is to apply a set of practical activities designed in VistaCreate and Heyzine Flipbook to improve learning in Organic Chemistry. The method applied in the research was inductive-deductive, the population consisted of 25 students enrolled in the subject of Organic Chemistry in the academic period 2024 1S, a digital booklet was developed and applied using VistaCreate and Heyzine Flipbook, in which workshops involving the realization of graphic organizers, infographics, exercises and playful activities were proposed in order to provide feedback and strengthen learning, a pre- and post-test was applied to obtain quantitative data. The results show a significant improvement in academic performance, which is evidenced by a better handling of concepts, resolution of nomenclature exercises and reactions of organic functional groups.
