Вибір приводу колісних пар локомотиву для промислового залізничного транспорту
The traction rolling stock used in industrial railway transport is considered, the necessity and directions of its renewal are substantiated. It is shown that the traction properties of a locomotive depend on the type of wheelset drive. The designs of locomotive wheelset drives with individual and group drives are considered. An analysis of different types of wheelset drives is proposed and performed according to the criteria that determine their properties and characteristics. The following criteria have been identified: weight and dimensions, traction and braking properties, energy efficiency, impact on the track, complexity of the drive design and technological requirements for manufacturing, maintenance and maintainability, reliability, and economic indicators. For each of the criteria, additional indicators are proposed, taking into account which the analysis of different types of group and individual drives was carried out. The analysis shows that an individual drive has slightly better energy efficiency, but requires more equipment. This increases both capital and operating costs of this type of drive. The group drive ensures high traction properties in conditions of unstable wheel-rail adhesion, and the dynamic impact on the track is lower. A smaller number of units in the group drive helps to reduce its cost and maintenance and repair costs. A method for quantitative assessment is proposed, on the basis of which a petal diagram is constructed for a visual comparison of the types of wheelset drives. Taking into account the results obtained in the article, it seems expedient to use a group drive of wheelsets for locomotives of industrial railway transport. It is advisable to use mono-engine bogies, the use of which improves the placement of equipment and allows the use of energy saving by means of a traction electric drive
