STAGES OF SOLUTION AND CURRENT STATE OF THE OZONE LAYER PROBLEM

The main stages of society's response to the problem of decreasing ozone layer thickness are considered. The main factors of ozone hole formation are given. The predominant role of anthropogenic factors, primarily ozone destruction by freons, is shown. The efforts of society to reduce anthropogenic impact on the ozone layer are demonstrated. Information on the effectiveness of these efforts is given. Information on new risk factors that can slow down the restoration of the ozone layer is given.
