Sapling of Singularity
Gwain has always played second fiddle—it’s a role that he’s quite familiar with. As the son of a traitor, brother of the heir to the throne, and ward to the king, he has a myriad of responsibilities that hound his every move. All he wants is to live up to the expectations placed upon him. Given a quest by his king that sends him into the capricious Lord Lachtna’s lands, who is oddly fixated on him, Gwain learns that the cards have been stacked against him from the beginning. Add to that a horrible curse that causes vines to sprout from his lungs, and Gwain begins to question if he ever knew anything at all about the goings on of the residents of Castle Lothia.
