A teoria das restrições na otimização logístic: aplicabilidade para redução de gargalos e ganho de eficiência

In the face of the increasing complexity of modern supply chains and organizational pressures for greater efficiency, the Theory of Constraints (TOC) emerges as a strategic approach to identifying and managing critical bottlenecks that limit the performance of logistics systems. This study aims to analyze the applicability of TOC in the optimization of logistics processes, highlighting its benefits, challenges and integration with other methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma. The results obtained show significant gains in efficiency, cost reduction and improvements in market response, but also highlight the importance of overcoming cultural and organizational barriers to achieve successful implementation. The conclusion reinforces the relevance of TOC as an essential tool for organizations seeking competitiveness and operational sustainability.
