Para uma teoria crítico-editorial: autoria, mediação e posteridade
The posthumous publication of authors such as Konstantinos Kavafis, Fernando Pessoa, and Macedonio Fernández, highlights the active role of editorial agency in shaping literary works. Over the centuries, textual criticism has grappled with textual instability and the complex relationship between authorship and editing. The notion of “work” becomes problematic in the face of multiple versions and editorial interventions, challenging the boundaries between production and reception, archive and interpretation. This article explores editorial criticism and its relationship with literary criticism, and textual materiality, considering the impact of cultural and institutional transformations on the circulation and preservation of texts, with special attention to the Colección Archivos editions and their methodological principles.
