Planes digitales de contingencia en los centros educativos de las Islas Baleares en pandemia

The Covid-19 crisis necessitated that teachers, students, and families adapt to distance learning, as well as the need for educational institutions to develop contingency plans for the 2020-21 academic year and, in the case of las Islas Baleares, updated digital contingency plans for the 2021-22 academic year. How did primary and secondary educational institutions in las Islas Baleares respond to the requirements set forth by the Conselleria d’Educació regarding the creation and updating of digital contingency plans following the pandemic? To address this question, a desk research methodology is proposed, involving the collection of a sample of 109 contingency plans from primary and secondary educational institutions in las Islas Baleares, categorizing the data, and extracting information re-garding: the digital organization of the institution, the digital competency of students and teaching staff, communication with families, technological equipment, and the specific context of each institution. The analysis concludes that, although a diagnosis has been made in these aspects and within an emergency context, true digital plans have still not been developed
