Plan de cuidados estandarizado en la Técnica Disección Endoscópica Submucosa

Objective: Colorectal cancer is one of the neoplasms with the highest incidence worldwide, and increasingly effective techniques, such as endoscopic submucosal dissection, are emerging for its treatment. This leads to the need to analyse aftercare in order to develop a standardised care plan, analysing its evolution and complications. Methods: Descriptive and retrospective observational study of 78 cases between January 2018 - December 2023, extracted from computerised medical records. Results: The use of this technique experienced an upward curve in its use for treatment and cure of extensive disseminated lesions and its subtypes, granular (42.3%) and non-granular (35.89%). 51.28% were women and 48.71% men, with a mean age of 62.90 years. 51.28% required short-term hospitalisation. Regarding the safety of the technique, 88.85% had no complications, compared to 11.14% who did, with perforation being the most frequent risk. Conclusions: The evolution of new techniques in the treatment of colorectal, gastric and oesophageal cancers highlights the need to update nursing knowledge and care to unify care criteria.
