Problemáticas en las políticas de la educación artística en México: el caso del municipio de Tepeapulco, Hidalgo

Education policies in Mexico and their ineffectiveness, highlighting how arts education teachers face great challenges to comply with the study plans and programs in a context of lack of resources and institutional support. It is also found that teachers' creativity is forced to adapt to adverse conditions, resort to non-artistic activities to evaluate and cover the contents of the subject. Public policies, although aligned with international treaties, are not effectively implemented due to the lack of specialists in arts education and the perception of the subject as secondary in the school curriculum. A change in educational policies is needed to ensure that arts education is valued and assigned the appropriate priority in the Mexican educational system.
