Playing “together” : Musical Timing in Percussion Chamber Music

In this thesis I research chamber music timing from a perspective of a percussionist. I use interviews and existing literature to set up a practicing regime for myself and my chamber music colleagues, which helps improve timing of the group and every individual. I also reflect on the importance of peer feedback and how adapting piano repertoire for percussion shaped my sense of timing. The sounding part of the thesis is the exam concert recording.
