From Perceptions to Practice: Exploring Students’ Use of Generative AI
The emergence of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technologies, such as ChatGPT and other large language models, has significantly transformed how students engage with educational content. These tools have great potential to improve learning efficiency, enhance creativity, and promote autonomous learning. However, despite their availability and capabilities, the adoption and sustained use among students vary and are influenced by several psychological, technological, and contextual factors. This study investigates the key determinants affecting students' usage of generative AI tools, focusing on the mediating roles of trust and satisfaction.Understanding these dynamics is crucial for educational institutions, policymakers, and developers seeking to integrate AI effectively and ethically into academic environments.
