Música e institucionalidad, una mirada a la teoría institucional del arte de George Dickie a través de los círculos de la música en Chile a principios del siglo xx
This work intends to cross the institutional theory of art of the American philosopher George Dickie with the musical, artistic and cultural reality of the early twentieth century in Chile, all this for the purpose, on the one hand, to add some notes to the aesthetic theory of the philosopher about the categories of artist, work of art, audience and presentation group, from a situated point of view and, on the other, to clarify how the position and movement of certain musical works within Chilean musical circles produced severe changes in the musical development of the time, all this from the heterogeneous positions of the members of a general public that witnessed and was part of a particular music scene, a world of Classical Chilean music.
