La práctica habitual -¿y razonable?- del cobro de la pensión alimenticia del hijo mayor de edad por su progenitor custodio. El necesario “aggiornamento” del art. 93.II del Código civil español
Following the breakup of a marriage or a couple with common-law children who are of legal age, or who reach that age later, child support payments are paid in Spain to the parent who lives with the children until they leave the family home. However, in many cases, when adult children do not receive child support directly, this creates problems, distortions, and imbalances that call for a regulatory change, as has already been implemented by some upcoming legislation, both in regional and neighboring European countries. It is considered highly desirable to legislate in the same direction by updating Article 93 of the Civil Code of the Kingdom of Spain.
