Jornada laboral, estrés y conflicto trabajo-familia en trabajadores de Latinoamérica: una revisión sistemática
Introduction: The current economic model, which originally seeks to maximize productivity to improve living standards, has inevitably contributed to the imbalance between work and family life. Objective: To review the literature on the working day and its relationship with stress and work-family conflict in Latin American workers. Methodology: Five databases Dialnet, Redalyc, Pubmed, ScienceDirect and Scielo were consulted to identify studies published in the period 2014-2024. Results: Eight final references published in six countries in the region were obtained. The findings indicate that long working hours have several consequences at the organizational and family level and include reduced family time and deterioration of family interpersonal relationships modulated by stress. Conclusion: Due to the scarcity of publications and methodological diversity, we conclude that it is important to increase the study of this topic in this region and to advance in the homogenization of the methodology to investigate it.
