La formación universitaria y la investigación en gestión de las artes en México: balance, tendencias y perspectivas
This article presents an analysis of the development of training and research in arts management in Mexico over the past twenty years. A mixed approach to data analysis (qualitative and quantitative) was applied; documentary analysis, content analysis, and interviews were used as research techniques that considered informants from 28 public and private universities in 16 states of Mexico. A sustained development of academic research groups and professional training programs was observed, fostered in part by the cultural and scientific policies of the Mexican Government that have contributed to the formalization of disciplines. The study concludes that there has been a process of maturation of cultural management as an academic field in general and as a professional practice in particular
