The aim of this study is to investigate how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance universal design for learning (UDL). Univer- sal design for learning focuses on creating inclusive educational environments that cater to the diversity of learners. AI poses a tipping point in the educational paradigm shift. The approach of the work is quantitative and uses a pre-experimental design with pretest and post-test in a sample of pre-school, primary and se- condary school teachers, with a level of digital competence from B2. Participating teachers will be offered a guide with guidelines for incorporating AI into the teaching and learning process in ac- cordance with the principles of the SAD. We believe that AI is an influential element in the student’s teaching and learning process and therefore it is essential that teachers know its main features and know how to implement it in their teaching practice
