Impuestos ambientales en tabasco

The present research addresses the legal analysis of the tax system in environmental matters recognized from international to national spheres with the objective of inducing human behavior to respect, care for and preserve the natural areas and ecosystems that surround us, analyzing the viability for the creation of environmental taxes and their implementation in the state of Tabasco. The theme emphasizes the right that human beings have to enjoy a healthy environment. This proposal is an original and little explored topic, which will allow contributions to Tax Law in environmental matters, since the legal framework has been insufficient to promote the preservation and care of the environment. The research is documentary type and addresses an investigation into international treaties related to environmental taxes, pointing out how national legislation on environmental taxes arises in Mexico and later in Tabasco. Special emphasis is given to the analysis of environmental tax principles with respect to human rights and the care of ecosystems. Finally, the problem caused by insufficient legal regulation in tax matters is addressed, to argue for the creation of new taxes related to the environment.
