Filosofia da educação: Da importância da operação conceitual e do diálogo com a tradição

Philosophy of Education as an interdisciplinary field of knowledge, because it brings together philosophy and education, has its specificity: elaborating formative issues from their original trace. Fundamentally, it has the task of thinking philosophically about phenomena concerning human formation. In the course of the essay that is now presented for reading, this specificity is shown through some elements that interpenetrate, such as: the centrality of the conceptual operation, the necessary dialogue with tradition. The essay aims to highlight the importance of conceptual operation and tradition in the practice of Philosophy of Education, in the light of some hermeneutic elements of the Heideggerian philosophical horizon.
