Esquema para una programación de desarrollo del interior del Departamento de Arica, 1974.

The document " Scheme for development programming in the interior of the Department of Arica" (1974), prepared by the Junta de Adelanto de Arica (JAA) and presented to the military authorities who took control of the Department of Arica a few months after the coup d'état that initiated the Chilean civil-military dictatorship, is presented and contextualized. This document is part of a transitional stage between the developmentalist vision that characterized the JAA in the 1950s and 1960s, and an uncertain new way of approaching and projecting development in the rural Andean areas of the Department of Arica.
