Ensino de física na educação ambiental crítica: o impacto do currículo na formação de professores

Recognizing that the environmental issue is one of the most urgent agendas of today and that overcoming contemporary environmental problems requires a break with the logic of the capitalist system, guided by a critical perspective. This paper aims to present a study on the integration of environmental debates, from a critical perspective, in the Bachelor’s Degree in Physics Education at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The analysis of the statements produced by the students was carried out in light of the Bakhtin Circle theory, with the aim of understanding how they perceive the integration of environmental debates in their education. Based on the analysis carried out, it is argued that a change in the curricular structure of the course is necessary in order to integrate the environmental debate into the curriculum.
