Estrategias creativas en la escritura: un proceso emergente en la educación básica elemental

This research aims to describe the influence of creative strategies in the writing development of students at the elementary level in the province of Los Ríos-Ecuador. The implemented methodology had a qualitative and quantitative approach because statistical order techniques and tools that promote interaction between the researcher and the research subjects were used. The PROesc Writing Process Assessment Battery was applied to students in person and by telematic means and an interview with experts in pedagogy and children's literature. When evaluating the students, it was found that they present significant difficulties in writing syllables, words, writing, and the use of orthographic signs that are not consistent with their maturational level. Experts agree that the best way to stimulate students is the development of phonological awareness, a key requirement to recognize and identify the sound of phonemes, and playful activities that arouse their interest in writing. It is concluded that teachers must usecreative strategies for the development of writing in a flexible way and according to the reality that each student is going through in their post-pandemic writing process.
