El clima organizacional como factor generador de desgaste ocupacional (burnout) en instituciones públicas

The objective of this research was to contrast the correlation between organizational climate and burnout in workers of a City Hall in the State of Colima. The research was cross-sectional, correlational, exploratory and confirmatory. A questionnaire was applied to public officials, consisting of two validated instruments: the Multidimensional Scale of Organizational Climate by Gómez and Vicario (2010) and the Mexican Scale of Occupational Burnout by Uribe – Prado (2010) to detect and measure the presence of Burnout syndrome. The research allowed to determine the organizational climate variables with the greatest incidence in occupational burnout, so that from the results administrative strategies can be designed to reduce its incidence.
