El desarrollo del razonamiento lógico matemático mediante la práctica del cálculo mental de las operaciones matemáticas fundamentales en la educación general básica

The objective of this study is to explore the teaching practice in the development of logical-mathematical thinking in EGB students. The paradigm is narrative, of an interpretive type supported by the method of systematization of experiences. Observation was used as a technique. The main results reflect that most teachers have little knowledge about the processes of logical-mathematical thinking and, therefore, apply monotonous and decontextualized teaching strategies where instruction is prioritized over teacher mediation. Applied exercises with examples and strategies are proposed to improve logical thinking.
