El Ensamble Musical como Estrategia para el Desarrollo de la Comunicación Oral, No Verbal e Interpersonal en Estudiantes de Educación Básica Secundaria

The musical ensemble is proposed as a pedagogical process that allows its members to develop oral, non-verbal, and interpersonal communication skills when they are secondary school students. Through a literature review, this study examines the impact of group musical practice on students' communicative and social skills. The findings indicate that participation in musical ensembles promote verbal expression, articulation, and confidence in public speaking. Likewise, music enhances non-verbal communication by fostering the interpretation of gestural signals and group synchronization. Within socio-emotional education, musical ensembles also contribute to the development of teamwork, empathy, and inclusion, as well as psychological well-being and academic performance. It is concluded that the integration of musical ensemble practice into the school curriculum contributes to the development of communication skills and the overall education of students.
