A deductive approach integrates Destination Image Theory and the AIDA model to evaluate the impact of digital marketing and branding efforts on foreign tourists. Data collected via an online survey explores how these strategies engage diverse audience segments. The findings highlight that while tourism marketing strategies are effective in altering perceptions and increasing interest, their impact varies depending on the audience’s pre-existing knowledge and emotional connection to the destination. The study underscores the critical role of emotional engagement, trust-building, safety perceptions, and consistent messaging in enhancing tourism marketing for emerging destinations. These insights provide actionable recommendations for improving the effectiveness of marketing strategies and fostering sustained interest in emerging destinations.
