In order to care for the environment, some educational institutions are implementing the separation of solid waste, in addition to raising students' awareness about the importance of solid waste classification. The objective of this research is to describe the classification and management of solid waste in undergraduate students. A questionnaire was administered to the students in the month of May 2024. Frequency tables and percentages, pie charts, were prepared to describe the dependence of the FEI on issues of use and management of solid waste, it was found that If recycling containers are used correctly, 90.45% of students sometimes sort solid waste. The difficulty of separating solid waste is the lack of responsibility for the separation. Furthermore, one of the activities that are necessary to implement to make use of recycling containers is campaigns for the use of recycling containers.
