Cuidado Humanizado de Enfermería en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos: Revisión Sistemática
Humanized nursing care corresponds to the integrated and comprehensive care of nursing professionals, in this case to critical patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) whose biological, physiological, psychological and spiritual survival is compromised due to their serious condition. Humanization is the attitude of the professional with a holistic approach centered on the human being for comprehensive recovery, for this reason the nurse with ethical professional commitment, in addition to being an expert in the use of technology and procedures for the reversal of the patient's critical condition, should not dissociate human care through warm and effective care demonstrating empathy and solidarity. The purpose of this work was to identify the principles of humanization applied by nursing professionals to patients in the intensive care unit, through secondary research, a systematic review type, with a descriptive approach of publications indexed in the last 5 years, and this was compiled by searching the database, Elseiver, PubMed and SCIELO, Google scholar. Where it was concluded that humanization in the ICU is an essential element in the care of critical patients because they are vulnerable with dependent needs that deserve physical, psychological and spiritual care.
