Diseño ontológico, las humanidades ambientales y los espacios narrativos. Tres enfoques fundamentales para re-ligar y tramar la vida desde lo artificial
The type of relationships that we establish with what is configured if it is reduced to the material, to the form, to its consumption, multiple underlying implications will be denied, so any other value and meaning that is deeply rooted in social praxis will be found on a plane of immanence (Greimas, 1987). The loss that this approach produces will not allow us to identify the relationships that are established at a social, cultural, political, economic, ontological and emotional level. Therefore, it is essential to think about the word of the configured in terms of the presence and existence of an ontological design (Escobar, 2016) because “…each object, too, service or even narrative in which it is involved, creates forms particulars of being, knowing and doing” (Escobar, 2016: 12). The environmental humanities (Albelda, Parreño, Hernández and Marrero, 2018) offer the possibility of approaching current problems in an interdisciplinary way. Its imperative is the development of studies in which both the cultural sphere and the environmental crisis are brought together, which is why it turns out to be a genuine position to imagine livable futures in which favorable life experiences are possible for all types of species, under a systemic and complex posture. Narrative spaces (Austin, 2018: 153-172 and Austin, 2015: 82) constitute a way of analyzing environments configured from the identification of five communicative levels, which range from material and formal aspect, environmental, visual, even emotional or empathetic. Narrative spaces engage in dialogue with people and the resulting behaviors, attitudes and feelings can account for this interaction. This work seeks to contribute to the reflection on the current and upcoming implications of design, assuming the existence of diverse contexts and ways of approaching the surrounding reality.
