Desarrollo del control estratégico a la gestión del talento humano en la Universidad de Holguín
Talent management is one of the most important processes within any organization. In the case of universities, fundamentally the teachers, play an important role in the fulfillment of the university organizational strategy, therefore, it constitutes a necessity to develop a strategic control of this process. The present research was developed at the University of Holguin, which in previous periods had presented the non-compliance of indicators associated with human talent management and at the same time there was no methodological tool that would guide the institution to develop the strategic control of the process. The study employed methods such as interviews, document review, expert methods, and statistical methods. As part of the results, a procedure was implemented which allowed the development of early warning systems on the strategy of the process, the preparation of the balanced scorecard, and the comprehensive evaluation of the process. In the analyzed period, a favorable behavior in the process is observed from the strategic point of view, however, there are deficiencies in indicators such as percentage of doctors, job satisfaction, completion of the staff, and the teaching categories of the main professors of the academic year. Based on the detected deficiencies, actions framed in an action plan were drawn up in order to achieve better strategic performance of the human talent management process at the University of Holguin.
