Currículo em revista: prescrições educacionais para adolescentes durante a ditadura militar (Paraná 1973-1984)

Curriculum in review: educational prescriptions for adolescents during the military dictatorship (Paraná 1973-1984).   Abstract   This text aims to investigate part of the reverberations of the Education Guidelines and Bases Law nº. 5,692, of August 11, 1971 (Law no. 5,692/1971), in the state of Paraná. Based on the conceptual notion of political culture, this text seeks to reflect on the expectations built for adolescents during the military dictatorship in the state of Paraná. Following this legislation, each state had to present its curriculum proposal in line with the legislation. After preparing the curriculum, subjects and referrals were presented in the Currículo magazine, the main vehicle for information with teachers in the state. Given the interest of this article, Currículo magazine serves as a source of analysis, with observations focusing on the Communication and Expression and Social Studies groups indicated by the document. It is believed that this analysis contributes to understanding educational interests, curricular disputes and expectations built around students.   Keywords Schooling. History of Education.
