AKILLI KENT OLGUSU VE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR KENTSEL GELİŞİM

Recently, the idea of smart and sustainable cities has become more talked about. It is gaining a well-deserved reputation as an encouraging solution to the problem of urban sustainability and is rapidly gaining momentum, especially in environmentally friendly and technologically advanced countries. This study takes a broad view of the foundations and principles of smart and sustainable cities, the possibilities for research and development based on state-of-the-art technologies, emerging scientific and technological developments and future urban planning procedures. It also examines existing examples of sustainable cities and smart city approaches, paying special attention to design strategies. In order to identify relevant problems, these models and methods are examined and compared in terms of sustainability. Gaps in smart sustainable cities research are identified in parallel with and beyond the proposed research. As a result, an integrated approach is proposed, based on a theoretical perspective that will combine current problems and solution recipes for future applications in the field of smart sustainable urban planning and development. According to the conclusions, the paper draws attention to, among other things, critical issues related to existing models of sustainable urban forms that remain unresolved, under-researched, largely neglected and insufficiently developed for theoretical and practical purposes. This framework can provide a roadmap for sustainable urban development. The model or framework aims to address the major limitations, uncertainties, paradoxes and misunderstandings in existing models of sustainable urban form. It will do so by leveraging next-generation information technologies, particularly advances in big data and contextual computing, and their advanced applications. A comprehensive review of work on smart and sustainable cities is a valuable and instructive resource for practitioners. This study will provide the necessary material to keep these communities abreast of the latest developments in the field of smart sustainable urban planning and development. The main objective of this paper is to set out a vision for future work towards smart sustainable cities of the future. A long-term vision of the future can trigger faster steps towards achieving the long-term goals of sustainability.
