Вплив державного регулювання сфери безпроводового електрозв’язку на забезпечення економічної безпеки України

In the article, the main functions of state regulation of wireless telecommunications to ensure economic security of the country are highlighted as follows: preventive, regulatory, protective, social and innovative. Main tasks of economic security are summarized and it was concluded that it is capable of protecting national interests, withstanding internal and external threats, and influencing implementation of effective management. The hierarchical structure of ensuring economic security in t wireless telecommunications in Ukraine is considered. The external and internal threats (risks) to activities in t wireless telecommunications in times of war are identified and analysed. External threats include: changes in the geopolitical and international economic environment, reduction in US and EU funding for the Ukrainian subsidised economy, and the need for the Ukrainian wireless telecommunications sector to comply with EU standards and legislation, the risk of restricted access to equipment due to the US-China technology war, restrictions on the use of technologies in terms of radio frequency spectrum, and different pricing policies for wireless telecommunications services in Ukraine and the EU. Internal threats (risks) to activities in this area in times of war are identified as follows: destruction of the wireless telecommunications infrastructure as a result of hostilities, risks of deterioration in performance due to blackouts, shortage of skilled labour, risks of sabotage cyberattacks, lack of funds for mobile operators to implement new technologies, low solvency and digital literacy of the population. It is concluded that the sphere of wireless telecommunications is a strategic industry of the country, it directly affects economic security and requires state regulation.
