Introduction
Judeophobia and the New Testament is a collection of thematic and text-based essays engaging with Judeophobia and the New Testament and other early Christian literature. For the purposes of this volume, “Judeophobia” is a broad heading that incorporates anti-Semitism, supersessionism, and various discriminatory practices against Jews at different points in history. The collection will consist of chapters focusing on each text of the New Testament, along with a selection of thematic essays as well as entries on relevant non-canonical literature. The project’s aim is to highlight how these texts have engendered and promoted Judeophobia in the past and in the present.
