MUHAMMED B. AHMED EL-METEVELLÎ’NİN AHKÂMÜ’L-HEMZETEYN Lİ’L-KURÂİL-AŞERATİ MİN TARİKİ’Ş-ŞÂTIBİYYE VE’D-DURRE ADLI RİSALESİNİN TAHKİK VE TAHLİLİ
In the science of Qira'at, the subject of hamza is an important subject that has been studied by almost every qira'at scholar in his works. Hamza was accepted as a separate letter in the Arabic alphabet by some scholars and took part in Alif-ba. It was not included in the alphabet because it was accepted by some others that it would not be counted and that it was the mobile of Alif With Harkah. The dispute on this issue was not only about whether the level should be taken into the alphabet, but also its recitation. For this reason, the issue of how to read the two hamzas that meet each other has been applied in different vaceehs among the scholars of qira'at. These forms of reading, expressed in various terms such as tahkeek (investigation), tasheel (facilitation) and ibdal (compensation), show the diversity of disputes about hamza. In the distinction between Usul and Farsh (modus and exception), the same phrases included in the first part mostly do not affect the meaning of the verse. However, in addition to being treated as a separate subject in the qira'at and tafsir works, separate treatises have also been written about the differences in the reading of the levels that cross each other. The investigation and introduction of Risala fi Ahkam al-Hamzatain li al-qiraat al-Ashera min Tariq al-Shatibiyya and al-Durra, a manuscript, formed the subject of this study. It is aimed to provide a text that can be read more easily through the investigation and to prepare a material that can be easily accessed and examined by academics of the field of education about the examination of individual studies. Muhammad b. Ahmad al-Mutawalli, who is the author of the treatise in the study. After a brief information was given about the life of Muhammad b. Ahmad al-Metawalli, the work was introduced and added to it by conducting an investigation.
