Local Production and Railway Integration: The Relationship Between the "Unión La Nueva" Cooperative Society, Milesi Brothers Company, and the Santa Fe Railway (Colonia Humboldt, 1885–1930)

The present study aims to examine and understand the dynamics of interaction between the "Unión La Nueva" Cooperative Society of Creameries Limited, the flour mill, and the general store of the Milesi Brothers company, with the Santa Fe Railway in the Humboldt Colony between 1885 and 1930. The analysis is based on an exhaustive review of unpublished primary sources that shed light on these relationships within the context of capitalist development in the province of Santa Fe.
