Knowing Death: The Development of the Anthropology of Death and its Possible Futures

This MPT consists of two parts: a literature review that presents the research topic and a research outline detailing the project. The literature review covers the development of the anthropology of death over the last 150 years and, looking to its possible futures, proposes near-death research as a productive case for future analysis.
