Методологія оптимізації розрахунку конструктивних параметрів синхронних машин з постійними магнітами
The article shows the design features of the AZIPOD electric drive complex and analyzes its effective and reliable application. The purpose of the work is to determine the possibility of using the AZIPOD complex on small sea and river vessels by modernizing the power supply and propulsion system using synchronous machines with permanent magnets. In accordance with the purpose of the work, the problem of creating complex tasks that depend on many factors arose. Today, the most relevant tasks for small-tonnage ships are the modernization of their systems, which are related to increasing the ship maneuverability in case of changes in weather conditions. One of the promising solutions is the use of synchronous machines with permanent magnets as part of the electric drive system. For the final conclusion, it is necessary to carry out a number of studies and calculate the parameters that determine the effectiveness of the use of a synchronous generator in the AZIPOD complex. The interest of researchers in this class of generators is due to their better energy and weight indicators compared to other machines, as well as simplicity of construction, long service life, reliability, ability to work at high rotation frequencies in difficult operating conditions. This article proposes a methodology for design parameters optimization calculation of synchronous machines with permanent magnets. The selected optimization calculation method for determining the gradient of the optimality criterion function provides the maximum value of the machine efficiency when determining the remaining parameters using the penalty function method. This approach provides an increase in the value of the optimality criterion when the limits of the temperature and geometric parameters of the machine are violated. In practice, due to a number of objective reasons, values that are close to optimal are sometimes accepted.
