Yapılandırmacı Öğretim Modelinin Okuma, Yazma Becerileri ve Türkçe Dersine Yönelik Tutuma Etkisi
Various teaching models and methods have been developed based on the constructivist approach. One of these is the 7E teaching model. In this study, which was conducted to examine the effects of the 7E model on attitudes toward Turkish lessons, reading comprehension, and creative writing skills, an explanatory sequential mixed design was used. Turkish lessons were taught for six weeks according to the 7E model in the experimental group. In the control group, the normal school program and teaching activities in the Turkish textbook were taught. Pre- and post-tests were applied to both groups. The students in the experimental and control groups were assigned according to the purposeful sampling method by looking at the similarity between their academic achievements. In comparing the experimental and control groups in creative writing skills, a significant difference was found between the pre-and post-tests of the experimental group in favor of the experimental group. While no significant difference was found between the dimensions of attitude towards Turkish lessons, negative attitude, and use in life, a significant difference was found only between the pre-and post-test scores of the experimental group in terms of interest and desire. Again, a significant difference was found between the pre-and post-test scores of the experimental group according to the boredom scale. In the teacher and student interviews conducted to explain these findings, it was stated that students' desire and participation in the lesson increased, the lessons were more enjoyable, some students who did not like the lesson started to enjoy the lesson and their socialization increased during the lesson.
