Yeni Bir Ölçek Çalışması: Lohusa & Yenidoğan Bakımında Kültürel Uygulamalar Tutum Ölçeği; Metodolojik Bir Çalışma

The purpose of this study is to develop the Postpartum/Newborn Care Cultural Practices Attitude Scale (Postpartum & Newborn- CCPAS) and conduct its validity and reliability study. The study was carried out methodologically. A 32-item question pool was created for Postpartum&Newborn-CCPAS. Expert opinion was obtained for content validity and the number of questions was reduced to 10. After the pilot study, a field study was conducted. The study was conducted in the pediatric clinics of a university training and research hospital between March and August 2023. The accessible population of the study consisted of mothers (N=450) of children hospitalized in the pediatric clinics of the hospital. 441 people were reached in the study. Statistical analyses of the data were performed with SPSS and AMOS. Ethical principles were adhered to. It was determined that the data were suitable for factorization and the sample size was sufficient. Exploratory factor analysis was performed for construct validity. Scale items were collected in a single factor. The total variance explained by the factor was 72.1%. The total score average of the scale was 28.49±9.65, the reliability Cronbach alpha coefficient was 0.956 and the cut-off point was 30.5. According to the item discrimination analysis, it was determined that each item distinguished the measured phenomenon (p
