THz nanoscopy of graphene plasmons on strontium titanate

The dispersion of graphene plasmons, with a high-$\kappa$ dielectric as the substrate, is theoretically derived, and probed by near-field nanoscopy enabled by a QCL emitting at 2.2 THz, which, through self-mixing, functions both as an emitter and detector.

Abstract

The dispersion of graphene plasmons, with a high-$\kappa$ dielectric as the substrate, is theoretically derived, and probed by near-field nanoscopy enabled by a QCL emitting at 2.2 THz, which, through self-mixing, functions both as an emitter and detector.
