Three Essays on the Impact of the Digitalization of Global Value Chains on Skills Mismatch and the Engagement of the Private Sector in Vocational Education

The central aim of my dissertation research is to investigate innate risks related to labour skills induced by the digitalization of the manufacturing process, and how the government responds against labour risks stemming from global diffusion of digital technology, changing labour market requirements, and the increasing need for the adjustment of vocational education production and delivery. Each free-standing but interrelated topic will be examined in the three individual papers.,
