Organize Sanayi Bölgesinde Sunulan Teşviklerin Sonuçlarının Değerlendirilmesi: Uşak İli Örneği(Evaluation of the Results of Incentives Offered in the Organized Industrial Zone: The Example of Uşak Province)

Investment decisions of firms vary depending on many factors. The investment incentive system, which is offered by the government and provides significant advantages to investors, is recognized as one of these factors. In the investment incentive system in force in our country, provinces are subject to a distinction according to their development levels and investors are offered the opportunity to benefit from various support elements depending on where the investment will be made. According to the incentive system, investors can benefit from support elements for a longer period of time if the investment is made in an organized industrial zone. In this study, it is aimed to measure the perceptions of companies benefiting from the incentives offered in organized industrial zones about the incentive legislation. For this purpose, the study first provides theoretical information about organized industrial zones and the investment incentive system. In order to measure the knowledge of firms in Organized industrial zones about the incentive system, the impact of incentives on their investment location preferences and their expectations from incentives, textile firms operating in the Merkez and Karma Organized Industrial Zones in Uşak province were selected as the sample As a result of the analysis, a significant difference was found between the years of operation of the firms and their perception of public incentives.
