Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin eğitimde yapay zeka kullanımı hakkındaki görüşlerinin incelenmesi

This study aims to examine preschool teachers' perspectives on artificial intelligence (AI) and its use in education. The research explores how teachers define AI, their views on its advantages and disadvantages, and the potential contributions of AI-assisted educational activities to preschool education. The study was conducted with 15 preschool teachers working with 5–6-year-old children in private kindergartens across different cities, all of whom hold at least a bachelor's degree. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The validity and reliability of the findings were ensured through inter-coder agreement among experts in the field. The results indicate that teachers generally hold positive views about AI, with some having no negative opinions at all. However, there is uncertainty regarding the potential contributions of AI to education. Furthermore, the findings reveal that teachers' use of AI in educational settings is quite limited, highlighting the need for further development of their knowledge and skills in this area. To address these shortcomings, it is recommended that all components of the education system work in coordination. Additionally, research and implementation processes related to AI in education should be accelerated, ensuring its early integration into both in-class and out-of-class learning experiences.
