Impact of Co-national Student Organization Membership on International Students’ Adjustment

Purpose of Study: To explore factors that influence international students’ decision to join co-national student organizations and examine the impact these organizations have on their adjustment and sense of belonging. Research Questions How do international students find out about co-national student organizations? What benefits do international students gain from joining co-national student organizations? How do international students who join co-national student organizations talk about their adjustment to college in the U.S. related to their membership?
