Analysis of innovation potential and innovation activity of the Republic of Belarus

The article is devoted to the analysis of innovation potential and innovation activity of the Republic of Belarus. The paper analyzes the main indicators characterizing the state of scientific and technological potential, production capabilities, investment climate, human resources and institutional environment. Special attention is paid to the regional aspects of innovation development, taking into account the fact that in the conditions of digitalization of the economy the key competitive advantage of the region is its innovation activity.
