The aim of this article is to present a document and demonstrate its scholarly value in depicting the ideological and propaganda processes in the western regions of Ukraine during the early postwar years. The research methodology is based on widely accepted principles of scientific inquiry, objectivity, historicism, and the use of external and internal criticism of sources. Scientific Novelty: The article highlights the ideological and propaganda activities of Ukrainian liberation forces, examining attitudes toward the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), and the Soviet system among various population groups in the region. The perspective of underground fighters on the ideologicalpolitical pressure exerted by Soviet authorities on local inhabitants is presented as a key tool of the process of Sovietization. Conclusions: The analysed documentation of the OUN holds significant scientific and informational value. The published document represents a crucial source for studying ideological and propaganda processes in western Ukraine in the immediate post-war years. The report, compiled in December 1949, remains anonymous. It is currently housed in the Archive of the Center for the Study of the Liberation Movement and is undergoing processing. The information within this underground report demonstrates that the Ukrainian liberation movement placed considerable emphasis on training and propaganda activities within its ranks. Additionally, the underground fighters studied the sentiments of various segments of the population regarding both the Ukrainian liberation movement and the Soviet system, with the aim of recruiting them into the OUN and UPA and developing effective methods of resistance. The continued support and assistance from the majority of the population for the Ukrainian insurgents, despite severe Soviet repressive measures, enabled the protracted resistance against the Soviet regime. The publication preserves the original language and style of the document to the greatest extent possible, with only minor grammatical corrections.
