This study explores the essence and key features of the globalized world space in the 21st century and its influence on cultural development both globally and within Ukraine. The paper rethinks the megatrends of the socio-cultural and civilizational process in the world today, highlighting the specifics of their manifestation in Ukraine. Political, economic, socio-cultural, and technological factors contributing to the transformation of the artistic culture paradigm in the 21st century are identified and characterized, along with their positive and negative aspects, and the paths for correcting the latter are outlined. The influence of these factors on the metamorphosis of musicaltheatrical art in Ukraine is examined. The study analyzes the initiation of international opera projects in Ukraine through the lens of the political factors of the new paradigm, outlining ways to make foreign-language artistic products more accessible to domestic audiences. The paper substantiates the grant support for Ukrainian opera projects from foreign and national cultural institutions and funds, viewed through the economic manifestations of the artistic paradigm on domestic ground. The negative impact of prioritizing economic feasibility over artistic quality in the implementation of opera projects is demonstrated, as well as their sensationalist interpretation for the sake of "scandalous" success and financial gain. The paper argues for the socio-cultural manifestations of the artistic paradigm in the creation of experimental directorial works within the context of the metamodern style, at the intersection of science, art, stage design, sports, and advanced technologies when addressing significant themes for Ukrainian society. It identifies cases of vulgarized interpretations of opera works within the aesthetics of postmodernism, which diminish human dignity, mock significant societal ideas and aspirations, and legitimize immorality, lack of spirituality, sensual corporeality, and a frivolous lifestyle. The study investigates the use of innovative art technologies and digital theater tools in the scenographic solutions of opera projects as technological factors of the artistic paradigm. It anticipates issues related to the authenticity and identity of musical-theatrical works when applying artificial intelligence. The paper also forecasts the vectors of metamorphosis for Ukraine's musical-theatrical art in the face of socio-cultural challenges of the 21st century
