The purpose of the study is to analyze the theoretical and practical foundations of the philosophy of architecture as an innovative scientific direction. Research objectives: 1) analyze grneral interaction as well as interaction of philosophy and architecture; 2) find out the fundamental concepts of philosophy of architecture as a new scientific direction; 3) reveal an interaction and interaction of form and content in the philosophy of architecture types of form; 4) determine the types of forms in architecture; 5) compare the architecture of St. Sophia of Kyiv in the context of methods and approaches, world architectural styles and traditions. Basic concepts such as space, form, function, aesthetics, context and symbolism help to understand how architecture can be both functional and meaningfully saturated. The philosophy of architecture as a scientific direction is a modern field of research that studies the conceptual, aesthetic, cultural and social aspects of architecture. It focuses on understanding the deep meanings of architectural forms, their role in society, their impact on humans, and understanding how space shapes our perception of the world. Philosophy of architecture is the desire to analyze the world created by the human work: houses, streets, cities; this is an opportunity to look at this world from the point of view of its enduring cosmic beauty, to identify the cultural and historical origins of the formation of various styles in architecture, to touch upon the complex problem of analyzing the artistic form of architecture, the laws of its being in the space of culture. The connection between architecture and philosophy is deep and multifaceted, because architecture, as the art of space, reflects the fundamental philosophical ideas and values of each era. Practical recommendations focus on integrating architecture with the environment, ensuring comfort and accessibility, using innovative technologies and increasing the aesthetic value of projects. These approaches are aimed at creating harmonious, stable and emotionally saturated spaces that reflect the values and needs of modern society.
