Дослідження проблематики рухової активності дітей з особливими освітніми потребами в сучасному вимірі
Given the tendency of a permanent increase in the number of children with special educational needs in the secondary school environment, the paper considers the issue of implementing their motor activity as a factor of proper psychophysical development and health protection, which is relevant in connection with the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine and the change in the format of education. The purpose of the study: to find out the state of development of the problem of motor activity in the rehabilitation process of children with disabilities in modern scientific discourse. Research methods: general scientific methods were used to implement the defined research objectives: analysis of literature sources, synthesis, systematization, induction and generalization. Results of the study. It has been found that in scientific research ‘motor activity’ of children with disabilities is considered primarily as a factor in the correction of their psychophysical development, elimination of existing health deviations, stimulation of growth, correction of psycho-emotional state and ensuring mental, physical, cognitive and psychosocial development. It has been found that children with disabilities are characterized by significantly lower participation in physical activity compared to their peers. A list of numerous factors has been established that have led to a decrease in the level of physical activity in children with disabilities, such as prolonged quarantine restrictions, disruption of the usual study regime, lack of access to sports facilities, suspension of extracurricular sports clubs, lack of physical education events, the emergence of «virtual addictions», along with the prolonged use of electronic means of communication in the educational process. It is proved that such children become less physically active with age, and, consequently, lag behind in development and health. Proposals for achieving effectiveness in ensuring an adequate level of physical activity for children with disabilities are identified, including ideas for ‘smart changes’ in the curriculum that will be easy and useful in implementing the appropriate amount of physical activity; proposals to provide children with opportunities to choose types of physical activity and increase their knowledge of its importance and necessity; thoughts on the use of tools for developing the motivation of children with disabilities in the process of involving them in systematic physical activity.
